A former police officer, Luke transitioned full-time into the short-term rental industry in 2022 and, alongside his wife Beth and their experienced team, has built a high-performing portfolio of over 50 properties across North Carolina, Arizona, and Florida. Luke began his journey in rental arbitrage, quickly scaling to 30+ units in his first year. In 2023, he strategically pivoted the business to focus solely on co-hosting, allowing Kolk Homes to deliver a more personalized and scalable management solution for property owners. Over the last four years, Luke and his team have successfully operated more than 120 units and built a reputation for dependable operations, strong guest experiences, and seamless owner communication. With a commitment to transparency, hospitality, and performance, Luke leads Kolk Homes in providing full-service co-hosting—from guest messaging and maintenance coordination to dynamic pricing and backend operations. His mission is to help homeowners unlock the full potential of their short-term rentals while enjoying true peace of mind.

Since leaving the classroom in 2021, Beth has worked alongside her husband, Luke, to grow Kolk Homes into a trusted name in short-term rental management. Today, their team manages over 50 properties across North Carolina, Arizona, and Florida. Beth plays a key role in the business’s continued success—leading owner onboarding, curating thoughtful and guest-friendly home designs, and building the backend systems that ensure smooth, consistent, and profitable property management. Beth is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for both homeowners and guests. What began as a part-time role quickly grew into a full-time passion. Kelsey now plays a key role in supporting our clients and ensuring they feel welcomed and cared for from day one.
