We had a fabulous stay. Everything was as described. The condo was spotless and the location was amazing. Christian and Luke were very easy to communicate with and responded promptly with any questions we had. Will book again!

Amazing stay with a perfect location!! Nearby bars get a little loud at night, but nothing excessive. Very convenient to have two parking spots.

My family stayed for one night to enjoy a beautiful beach day and the place didn’t disappoint. It was clean, spacious, and the sound machines truly helped to mute the outside noise. There are a few bars around so you’ll hear some occasional music. Overall a good stay for us.

We had the best time here! It was such an easy walk to the beach, which is nice if you need to quickly go home for Something. Lots of stores, and restaurants in easy walking distance. They thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable! We will definitely be back. The rental underneath us could be loud in the late evening after 9- but never kept us up (the sound machines they provided truly helped).

We absolutely loved the location and the place. Christian was awesome as well as he gave us a bit earlier check out time after I informed him that I felt like we kind of got screwed on the check out time as it is not specified as 11am and check in time was 4-6pm but I’m assuming that’s air bnb dropping the ball on informing us since I compared 3 different air BNBs before hand and they were all the same. Location is awesome, many great restaurants and coffee shops around as well as beautiful beach. TV and Washer/Dryer work great, balcony’s are awesome. Price was even better! My girlfriend was very impressed and she is so picky. lol great job!

We loved our stay at this airbnb! It was in the heart of Wrightsville Beach quick walk to Tower7, King Neptune’s, and Robert’s Grocery and just steps from the beach! The open floor plan was amazing and such great seating inside and out! The host was always responsive and so accommodating for our stay! Kitchen is well equipped with anything you would need for preparing meals. Beds were very comfortable and the decor was beautiful! I hope to stay here again!

We would have given a 5-star rating if it weren’t for the noisy bar across the street. It’s an awesome Airbnb - beds and furniture were very comfortable and we really loved being close to the beach. Great restaurants and shopping in the area also. We know the listing said there was a noisy bar and there were noise canceling machines but it was very loud until almost 1am each night. If that sort of thing doesn’t bother you then I highly recommend it.

We, a family of four, just passing through wished we had more time to enjoy the house and surrounding area. The house feels modern, well appointed, with coastal charm. We would stay there again. Definitely a place worth booking for a longer vacation.

Great location close to public access, restaurants and bars! The unit was aweesome, big kitchen plenty of seating, giant TV, bedrooms with private baths! Loved it!

Perfect place to stay for our family of four. There was plenty of space and all the amenities we needed for a week at the beach. The location was ideal especially with toddlers. So close to the beach and the house had wagons, beach chairs, beach toys and towels which was a huge plus. Right around the corner from a good coffee shop and different shops and restaurants. We would definitely book here again!

Very spacious and comfortable second floor space with new amenities and fresh, tasteful finishes. Heat and AC were easy to use and kept the space comfortable. Kitchen was well accessorized. Nice furnished outdoor space. All spaces were clean. Active night club area is walking distance, so expect some late night noise. Unit comes with some noise canceling devices which help for restful nights.

A gorgeous and comfortable place right across from fun beach bars, super close to shops and coffee, and just steps from the beach. A wonderful place to stay on Wrightsville!

Luke is great at communicating. The apartment is large, clean and comfortable. You're 50 yds from the beach and have a host of food and coffee spots you can walk to.

I liked the privacy of the two bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bath. The location was great for my coworker and myself. Beach, Roberts Grocery, restaurants, drinks all right outside our door. I brought a box fan and didn’t have a problem with the bar noise however coworker did. Driveway parking was just enough for a truck and small suv. Very clean with comfortable beds, linens and towels. Great outdoor porch on backside and deck on frontside. For our trip, it was perfect! Thank you, Luke!

If you are looking for quick access to the beach and a quick walk to the night life in Wrightsville Beach, this is a great location! The house is super cute and very tidy. It’s also very spacious and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful and nicely decorated space. The condo had two decks/outdoor spaces which were enjoyable. You can easily walk to bars and restaurant and of course to the ocean. Luke was a great host and I’d certainly stay there again.

Luke, the host was amazing. The house was perfect. The beach was glorious.

If you want easy access and free parking to Wrightsville beach with restaurants, shops and easy walking in the community this is a great place. The stated amenities are true. The host was very helpful when there was a problem with the TV. He was attentive to assist getting it to work. We stayed over the last week prior to Labor Day where businesses cater to younger people and there is no curfew or limit to how loud the noise level. Neighbors were with children who screaming through the night. Bring a good pair of earplugs with you.

We had a great stay. The unit was clean and very comfortable. It was also conveniently located close to the beach and main amenities at Wrightsville. Luke was very responsive and friendly.

We had a great time during our stay. The upstairs apartment was clean and nicely outfitted. There was a nice porch for sitting outside and super easy walk to the beach. Kids loved the sand and the waves. Would definitely recommend.

The unit was perfect for our 4-member family (a second bedroom with two queens felt like a luxury for our college-age children), and the location is ideal in so many ways: ease of beach access, proximity to restaurants and Roberts Grocery, and convenience of entry and exit to the island. The host was also immediately responsive to issues at the unit, which were very few and minor. The only potentially negative factor that prospective guests should consider is the nighttime noise that carries over from the bars on Lumina Avenue—Jimmy's and Lagerheads. My family has vacationed at Wrightsville Beach for decades, so we knew what we were signing up for, but guests who are newer to the island might be in for a (literal?) rude awakening if they don't plan for this part of the experience. My best advice: stay here (!) because the unit is fantastic, and the host is wonderful; but bring your earbuds or your white noise apps or whatever else you might need to drown the din of the high-life crowd.

Very nice place, great location near the beach. 2 parking spots that close to the beach were very convenient. Kitchen was well equipped.

Upon check in at 4pm, the cleaners had still not been to clean the condo. After messaging Luke and Kelsey to make them aware of the situation, they would only respond to messages and offered a whole 50$ refund initially for inconvenience. We were told the cleaners take 5 hours to clean, yet ended up taking 45 minutes to clean the condo. We finally received a phone call from Kelsey and later Luke after multiple messages sent. Upon walking into the condo there was still food in the sink. Our towels we were to use to bath with were wet and inside of the dryer still. The patio was covered in sand; very poor effort to clean the condo overall. All in all, we were very disappointed with the start of our vacation and how poorly the situation was handled. It was like pulling teeth to get a fair compensation. Furniture needs a refresher and living room chairs are worn and covered with stains. On the plus side, the condo is in a great location to beach/shops/food as stated in other reviews!

Our family enjoyed our stay SO much, we didn't want to leave! We were blown away by how close the ocean truly was. It was even closer than the picture makes it seem! We were also able to walk to dinner and enjoyed not having to take the car. The times we did take the car, it was heavenly to have a nice parking spot waiting for us with no stress. We all enjoyed restful sleep in the comfortable beds and we appreciated the cleanliness. We will most definitely stay here again for another vacation. I highly recommend it!

It was located next to a bar that played very loud music until two and three in the morning every single night. Also, two of the beds had sand in them.

Perfect beach house. We loved not even having to cross any streets with our littles to get to the beach, AND being able to walk to dinner and ice cream! Fabulous space, clean and cozy. Luke is extremely responsive and helpful!

Very well appointed Airbnb. Luke was responsive, and was very helpful with some items we left behind. There is a bit of noise at night, but wasn’t really an issue for us. We had everything we needed and would definitely stay again!

A Swell Life was the perfect place to stay at Wrightsville Beach. The condo was spotless, spacious, and welcoming. The condo was located a few steps to the beach, local restaurants, a grocery store, and the famous WB Loop. Although we had a minor issue with the AC, Luke promptly responded and had the issue resolved the next day. I would absolutely stay here again.

A Swell Life is perfectly located for easy access to everything Wrightsville Beach has to offer, be it shores or shops, and also provides a comfortable and amenity-filled environment. The home was designed with ample seating and space for our group and was an excellent retreat during our stay. Luke was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout, and the check in/out processes were clear, quick and easy. Highly recommend!

I gave 5 stars for a very nice unit next to the beach, but we did have some issues. We could not access unit when we first arrived but Luke responded within 15 minutes to correct. Also the soap containers were all empty and there was wet bath mats on floor. Once again it was all handled by next morning. One issue that no one can correct is the sometimes loud noise from bars across street. Just make sure to take ear plugs and should be fine. We all agreed that we would stay in this unit if we ever return to Wrightsville Beach. As others mentioned, it is a nice place and very clean and super close to everything needed. Highly recommended

The keyless entry made check in easy. The place was clean and had many appliances made available to us in the kitchen as well as shampoo and conditioner in the showers. The place was super convenient to both shops and restaurants & it was a quick 2 minute walk to the beach. The only down side was early check-in was not made available for an additional fee which would have been nice since we arrived early from NY.

Can’t beat this location’s proximity to the beach! Also walking distance to pier, shops, and ice cream. Nice big top floor unit as well. Loved that there were beach toys and nice beach chairs available to use.

Enjoyed the open concept layout to this beach friendly condo that was just a perfect fit for our family of six. It’s location is steps to the beach and in the heart of the hustle bustle of the Lumina Ave (bars, restaurants and shops). My son is a runner and it was super convenient for him to jump right on the loop’s path every morning. We had everything we needed for a convenient and comfortable stay!!!

Cute little spot in perfect location!!

Our stay exceeded our expectations. The place was exceptionally clean. With a crawling infant along for the trip, my standards are very high. I think the floors of many rentals out there have that build up of cleaning product feel. The floors here felt truly clean. Additionally, I was a little nervous that noise from nearby businesses would be a problem at night with little ones in tow, but it really didn’t bother us (granted our trip was during the off season). The bedrooms were set up very nicely. Worked well for our family of five. We had a great stay!

Excellent all around! Cleanest unit we’ve ever stayed in and best communication from Luke, out of any host we’ve experienced. His communication, organization, and information was unparalleled. He made the entire experience easy, smooth, clear, and personable. We appreciated his checking in and will most definitely stay in the future. Bonus was the location for us - very close to the beach, and walkable to the pier where our half marathon start was located - that was extra enjoyable.

Place is great & in a perfect location... Be aware that there's loud bar noise on the weekends, but didn't bother us.

We were very pleased. The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was recently renovated and done in a very tasteful way. It felt like a modern beach condo, not one from the 70s. Everything worked well and the apartment was will stocked, both in supplies, appliances, coffee, etc. We had everything we needed. The kitchen , dining and living areas were open, bright and very comfortable.

We will definitely be back! The place was beautiful, Luke was very responsive and helpful. The place was beautiful roomy and had a lot of amenities. The noise machine i thoughtful and helpful for the noise outside (which was not too bad). Enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Luke’s place. If you are looking to walk to the beach easily and also be within very close proximity to a little grocery store, restaurants, bars, and shops, this is your spot.

This was a hop skip and jump from the beach. Great place to stay with access to a lot. The bedrooms did not have a TV so it made it nice to play board games (which were made accessible).

We could not get into the house for an hour after check in and the owner would not return our calls. The parking was not as described. We were blocked in by the other guest and the owner would not return our call. The bands were extremely loud until 2:00AM

We had a great stay and loved the home! The beach is just a few hundred feet away and there are great restaurants and shops just steps away! Some of the things that matter to us anywhere we stay are comfortable beds, good water pressure, fast internet, good lighting, and last but not least a friendly responsive host. This home checked all the boxes! Definitely recommend!

The location is fantastic, close to the beach and very walkable. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The only downside is the unit is among restaurants and bars which can create periods of noise late night. They supplied a sound machine and that was very helpful at reducing the impact.

Beautiful, clean place with excellent furnishings, linens and very nice kitchen dishes and appliances. Well stocked with coffee, soaps, etc. Nicely furnished bathrooms with all the amenities. Great patio with ocean breezes.

The condo had everything we needed including beach chairs and towels. Location was excellent as it was within walking distance to the beach, a local grocery store, shops and restaurants. We only wished we could have stayed a little longer.

This was a great vacation rental. Plenty of space! Spotless and gorgeous. The porches were the best for relaxing and enjoying the ocean breeze. Just a short walk to the beach was so convenient. We walked to eat most of our meals. Cannot say enough about this awesome place!

Wonderful accommodations! We would definitely stay again! The bedroom configuration was perfect. Loved the kitchen, dining and porches! We love the hum of the beach “waking up” and the din of some late night beach fun, as well as the proximity to restaurants, Robert’s groceries and the beach. The extent of the beach erosion as compared to the more northern stretches of beach will hopefully be addressed with some renourishment.

The place is just as shown in the pictures. Very airy and nicely furnished. The beds were very comfortable with ergonomic pillows. The location is wonderful!!! One block away from the beach. Some beach chairs and beach items were available. Restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. Because it is in close proximity to entertainment, you do hear the music at night. It is also easy to drive to nearby restaurants. I will stay here every time I go to beach!!

My family and I had an amazing stay! The location can’t be beat and was perfect for walking to the beach, coffee, restaurants and ice cream! The place is immaculate with beautiful decor. I can't say enough about Luke and his rental property. I was impressed with Luke from the moment I rented his property. He was responsive to my questions in a very timely matter and provided helpful information about the property and in general. The property was as described in the bio and in photos. It was right in the heart of downtown Wrightsville which is what we wanted and was also a convenient walk to the beach. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the property for you. We were not looking for that because we really wanted to be within walking distance from shops and restaurants. Thanks for a great stay! :)

Luke’s home was extremely clean and easy to access when checking in, and other than the noise from the bar across the street the area was perfect for a beach vacation. The street is quiet and the short walk to the beach was convenient. We hope to be back next year!

Luke's place in Wrightsville Beach was great! The space was beautiful, comfortable, and looked exactly like the photos. The location is super convenient within feet of the beach and close to several restaurants. The air wasn't working upon check-in but Luke had someone there to repair it literally within minutes. Light sleepers might have a tough time if the nearby dive bar has a late party night, like our first evening. Definitely worth a stay and would come back again.

Perfect spot just a short walk to the beach and a short walk to several restaurants and bars. Couldn’t be happier with the location/convenience. Lots of interior space and a comfortable stay. Luke was also very responsive and easy to work with. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

The space is exactly as described and shown in the pictures - no surprises. The place was super clean, organized, and stocked with the essentials and then some. The outdoor seating is the best. Location rocks...about one block from the beach and in the center of the action. Since it is in the heart of Wrightsville Beach, there is a vibrant nightlight, and with that comes a little late-night noise. Harmless, but at times, a little noisy. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

I made a last mini decision to take my mom on a short getaway for her 50th wedding anniversary. My father is deceased, so I didn’t want my mom to be sad. Luke was very accommodating and I felt like he catered to me and my family during a hard time. The house was beautiful, peaceful and worth every penny! Luke is a wonderful host. When there was a hiccup with our reservation, Luke responded immediately, and quickly resolving any issues we had. He went above and beyond to assure our stay was clean and comfortable. “A Swell Life” is a perfect location to enjoy sunrise walks on the beach, or a short walk to grab a morning coffee or have a nearby dinner. The rental is very clean, with comfortable beds and cozy linens. There is beautiful artwork throughout with a nice coastal theme without being cluttered. The kitchen has everything we need to prepare meals and snacks. The dining table serves nicely as our jigsaw puzzle table. The street side upper deck is lovely to sit on and enjoy the sun on these cool days while swinging in the hammock. We will certainly look to rent from Luke again in the future. For mid January this is a true gem. Thank you Luke.

I've been to Wrightsville Beach many times in my life (since I live only 2 hours away) and I was lucky to stay in this excellent spot which I'm sure wouldn't be affordable during the season. We loved every aspect of the place for our short couple of days away.

Beautiful place and excellent location, would highly recommend and staying again!
