Topsail Beach Bungalow- Steps to the Beach and Sound Views

Great location, easy access to beach ( one street away) or walk to the end of street to public beach parking. Able to view and listen to the ocean while sitting out on covered deck, or sit out on back deck and watch the sun set. A covered deck was a must when looking for a rental and as usual it paid off on those extra sunny days. The house was fully equipped with all we needed. A haven for birdwatchers in the pond across the street. There were a number of cars that passed by the house to go to the public parking at the end of the street but it was not an issue. Sad to see the beach slowly eroding along Topsail, still a peaceful, family oriented place to enjoy. Surf City not far away with its restaurants, shops and Turtle rescue.

We had a great time staying here! Kate was very responsive and took initiative making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. The house was the perfect set up for our family, which included two small children and our dog. We would love to visit again!

Cozy and quaint single family home style condo/bungalow. Across the street from the beach, walkable and bike friendly neighborhood, and on the quiet end of North Topsail Beach. The place had all basic needs for cooking and cleaning along with plenty of linen and towels. Smart TVs in every room, WiFi provided. Perfect for a short to medium stay at the beach for 4-6 people. Kate is a fantastic host, very responsive and helpful. Will certainly stay here again.

Katherine was prompt in responding to a couple questions we had. Moreover, she used a most unique algorithm to set the pass code to the front door. With this code, even us elders had no trouble remembering how to access the cottage. We shared the feeling that from the get-go that Katherine was committed to making our stay comfortable and memorable.

Beautifully situated, looking at the sound and the ocean We read Airbnb’s often and your kitchen was stocked better than anyone we ever stayed at We really appreciated your quick response on questions that we had We would highly recommend your home to anyone and if we are in the need ever again, we would rent from you again

My daughter and I enjoyed the property and the beautiful beach and porch. The house was not as clean as expected at all- Katherine was very apologetic and offered to send cleaner’s back out. We had already cleaned so it was not necessary. I feel since it was end of season it may have been a bit “worn” and I am sure the necessary maintenance will be done. I would give this property a solid 4/5 if it weren’t for cleanliness. The blinds didn’t go up and one of the couches was broken/ very slanted. Really nice view and loved the dog friendly aspect! We truly did have a relaxing time.

Katherine was very responsive and friendly. The house was cozy and well appointed. The location was spectacular, beautiful and an easy walk to the beach.

We had a wonderful stay here. The house was perfect for our stay. The porch had gorgeous sunrise and sunset views. Kate was quick to respond to my questions. We will definitely stay here again.

Katherine was very hospitable throughout our entire stay. She was very proactive with directions and code information as well. Clean house!

Kate was very responsive and helpful. Peaceful location and very close to the water. If you have nervous dog, I don't recommend this end of the island because of the helicopters will sometimes shake the house. We had to take our dog everywhere because he was so scared! I have a bad back and struggled with the mattress in the main bedroom, but you can't please everybody all the time. The house was just the right size for my party of 4, and was decorated very nice. The kitchen had everything you need. Over all it was a great place to relax and get away from the everyday grind.

would definitely stay again. The house is a classic beach bungalow, comfortable, clean, nice touches without going over the top—beach is about fun, sand, surf, and taking it easy. All of which we did here. Especially liked the large porch, beautiful marsh and maritime forest next door. Easy walk to beach (yes North Topsail is eroding no surprise there.) bathrooms and beds clean and comfortable.

Everything was pretty amazing.

Katherine’s communication skills were above par. The issues my group had are as followed: No linens provided upon arrival including: towels, sheets, wash rags, pillow cases Beds were unmade Clumps of dog hair on the floor and couch (yes it’s pet friendly but I shouldn’t walk in & immediately see clumps of dark grey hair) Dresser tops were clearly not wiped down as I was able to smear off streaks with a finger Trash I.e. tissue and partially drank water bottle under master bed. Mattress topper looked to have a urine stain on it Grill was filthy and unusable no coals provided and coals all around yard as well as old coals left in grill Outside water hose does not work properly and the faucet handle is rusted badly, broken, and sharp. Check in was difficult as my code did not work and Katherine had to unlock the door herself virtually (very possible the 30 min early check in is why it didn’t work but host did not say that was the issue)

We all enjoyed it the river was great and loved how we could drive on the beach.The pond in front was perfect for my son to go fishing.Overall great place would love to come back

This was so worth it! Such a cute place with a nice view of the ocean from the front porch. Clean, exactly as described, & very responsive host.

My friends and I had a great stay. Quick and easy 5 minute walk to the beach. If we had an issue, Katherine responded right away. The home was located in a nice neighborhood with very pretty views. Will definitely consider staying again!

Very cute place! Can see the ocean from the deck and the beach is a short walk. I didn’t realize one of the closest beach access #3 allowed 4X4 wheel drive out on the beach which was fun. But that water you’re not allowed to swim in because of the current and depth at that point. This was a good location for quiet get away time at a beautiful NC beach. Would love to come back!
